Who are the editors?

You can view complete lists of the volunteer ASFP 2022 Editors by category here: Clinical, Developmental, Social, and Cognitive. These pages list each editor’s name, role (faculty, postdoc, or PhD student), institution, and their areas of expertise. Every piece of feedback submitted by ASFP editors is also checked by the ASFP Core Team and/or ASFP Feedback Reviewers prior to being sent to applicants. Thank you to all of the ASFP 2022 Editors for volunteering! (we will shortly update this page with the ASFP 2023 editors!

Editors By Role

In all, 200 psychological scientists from a total of 89 institutions were trained as editors in 2022. These editors volunteered to give 1,068 pieces of feedback on applicants’ statements for admission to psychology PhD programs.

Editors By Category

Editors indicated expertise roughly evenly distributed across the four categories of psychology programs supported by ASFP 2022: Clinical, Developmental, Social, and Cognitive, with the end result that editors have a capacity by category for up to 398 Clinical reviews, 262 Developmental reviews, 226 Cognitive reviews, and 182 Social reviews.

(the number of editors summed across categories is larger than the total number of editors because a few had expertise in more than one category)

Pages for previous years that list all of the volunteer Editors by name and expertise, and all of the volunteer Feedback Reviewers can be found here:
